Week 8: Green screen, final plans.

Green screen animatic 

Mike did the first 34 seconds and I did the rest putting all of the green screen footage together so it works to the correct timings. We had to jiggle the plans around a little bit. But now that's done we all sat down and decided on who was going to do what. As you can see below.

1-4  "cut video" style eye + iris after effects

4-6  3D clock cut video of hand moving down, ink in flash in sea colours

6-9  Flash sea, cut out clouds sheet music, photograph of sky then manip to fit mood, 3D bed orange (Cuddling a koala who is wearing a hat)

9-10 Masking the green screen, changing transparency scene being scrumpled, ink dropping flash, next scene behind scrumple already

10-13  Drop falls in center, 3D bed, mask, green screen flash, Goes to put feet in slippers that warps around nicely at same time blue at start as it wraps around it starts to turn black and white

13-15  3/4 view on left B&W video chop

15-18  video background, rotoscope face, many textures playing over the top

18-19 Black and white kettle, just kettle changes to trippy colurs as water bubble we boil the universe

19-23 Take picture of BG, Kettle, then distort kettle and click apart in photoshop

23-25 Pause 3D bathroom Steam and water after effects

25-28 Dripping that gets longer than steam transition

28-32 Mirror mask, move mirror to left

32-33 Eye blink - same as start

33-35  (Green) One colour, Second skin pulling up, Onesie (zip face) B&W photograph as he zips up, rotoscope green doll movements, after effects

35-36  (Blue)New colour, show him brushing hair, Hair brush as passes over hair changes to a brown texture (leather)

36-38  (Red) Starts to fall behind and blur and warp

38-40  Music sheet lines dripping (actual lines and notes)

40-44  Purple, blue,pink pastel calm, on left human shrinks, making breakfast 3 stills of him doing so with a slow turn to face camera by end frame.

44-45  Fast zoom on face, as spoon goes into mouth show next scene in mouth already

45-48  Chaos walls starting to merge, 3D bathroom just about to touch go to top view (1 sec) Solid bathroom floor just bathroom walls moving, bath, toilet, sink, in 3D he's on back wall. Human "cut video"

48-52  Chaos - Abstract video colour , Hand reaching forward,  Slow motion, background super speed

52-53 Show his back (colour/black) in warped background room (bathroom)

53-54  Show his face brushing his teeth, Zooming out

54-56 Show character in bathroom, bathroom isolated in black space, music surrounding, flowing around the room almost hugging it

56-57  Splashes water on his face and stands up straight - Water masks as another layer

57-58  Character : Jacket, Layers, man shifts over onto jacket When he's in jacket have live action sewing video playing on jacket

58-59  Keys : Briefcase : Character(now in Jacket), move items onto page

59-1.00  Open 3D door and drown in the white light and outside noises

1.00-1.06. He floats in water towards the light. Breaking water and breathing in. floating in water

1.06-1.07  Float completely up, smooth motion

1.07-1.11 Piano steps (piano key)

1.11-1.13 Standing outside a door, goes to knock on lion and it roars interrupting music flow. Lions mouth stretches and you go through it into next scene

Pan up his body to show his face, him in Black and white and people walking behind in normal clothes
1.13-1.16 3D different doors textured , Series of doors open in real life, go through a door this is another door etc.

1.16-1.20  Him looking through an open door and seeing a hat swinging, slow zoom out to show replica hats and walls, Background is video hat and him animated

His P.O.V show one room but lots and lots of hats (double mirror effect)

8 snaps of the hat hidden in the video

1.20-1.23  show his brain cut out with music escaping

1.23-1.24  Him lying on a psychiatric 3d couch, the couch changing pattern musical notes flying down screen,

1.24-1.25  Zoom in on his face as he buries it in the couch, the couch still changing

1.25-1.26  Show a dull world within him standing in the middle, music and colour inside of him, that is the released and everything becomes colourful

1.26-1.28  Him standing Black and white against colour background, soothing image, slight breeze very soft

1.28-1.30  Lying in musical ocean sun glare slowly rising across screen as sun rises and fades to white

1.30-1.32  On fade to white have a slight glitch showing the hat

We then made deadlines as to when we could get it done by. Mikes doing the 3D modeling, Jess the liquids and I'm doing the main rotoscoping. The deadlines are something I went through with each person to make sure they could keep to it.
